Internship assignment (work tasks)
We are currently seeking applicants for our Fall semester internship programme. Through an internship at FCG Sweden you will gain insights into how international development works in practice- and have the chance to work on a broad range of subjects- everything from improving public service delivery, civil society development, private sector development and natural resource management to programme evaluations. You will see how a private sector actor works in international development, gain insights into many of the leading bilateral and multilateral organisations and be given plenty of responsibility and opportunities to learn and develop.
Interns will be primarily allocated to one of our business areas – Public Sector Development, Non-State Actors, Natural Resource Management and Evaluation, but will likely have the chance to work with multiple business areas during the internship. Much of the work will focus on business development of our project portfolio. This will include carrying out regular market analysis and research, assisting us in identifying and preparing project opportunities and tenders. The interns will need to contact partners and experts by email and telephone, assisting in the tender processes, carrying out market analysis and research, recruitment for projects etc.
